We use no tracking, profiling or advertising cookies. The only cookie this site stores is the one that remembers the choice you made on the consent banner.
What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to website owners. Some cookies are essential for a site to function; others are used for analytics, personalisation, or advertising.
Our use of cookies
We have no analytics platform, no advertising network, and no retargeting or tracking of any kind. We store exactly one cookie, and its only job is to remember whether you agreed to load our typeface from Google so that you are not asked on every page.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| mz_consent | Records whether you accepted or declined the Google Fonts request. Holds one of two words and nothing else: no identifier, no visit history, nothing that could single you out. | 180 days | Strictly necessary |
A cookie whose sole purpose is to honour a privacy choice is classed as strictly necessary, so it is set whichever answer you give. Declining is remembered exactly as firmly as accepting.
Third-party cookies
One external service is used, and only after you allow it. It sets no cookie, but loading it does reveal your IP address to the provider, which is why we ask first:
| Service | What it does | Sets a cookie |
|---|---|---|
| Google Fonts | Delivers the DM Sans typeface. Google receives your IP address when the file is requested. Nothing loads unless you accept; decline and we use a font already on your device. | No |
It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and nothing about you is shared back to us. If you decline, our server returns a security policy that forbids your browser from contacting Google, so the request cannot happen even if something tried to make it.
Managing cookies
You can change your answer at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block third-party cookies by default. For guidance on managing cookies in your browser, visit your browser’s help section or allaboutcookies.org.
Changes to this policy
If we ever introduce new third-party services that set cookies, we will update this policy and the date above before doing so. We will not add tracking or advertising cookies without making this clearly known.
